Akrobud is a family company engaged in the production and prefabrication of wooden structures. The company builds houses from timber, prepares projects and structural elements to order.
Akrobud turned to us with clearly defined goals. The key expectation was to build a strong relationship with the recipient, based on the principle of “know me — like me — trust me — buy me”. Every person visiting the website should be interested in the company's offer, gain confidence in its competence and feel the need to establish contact. In addition, Akrobud wanted to increase awareness of its brand and the comprehensive possibilities it offers in the field of design, prefabrication and sale of structural timber.
Akrobud focuses on serving business customers (B2B) from Poland and the Netherlands. The main customers of their offer are construction companies, developers and engineering companies that are looking for advanced wood construction solutions. Akrobud provides comprehensive design, cutting of wooden elements and prefabrication services that meet the needs of both small and large construction projects. Thanks to its wide technological capabilities and high quality materials, the company successfully meets the expectations of demanding customers in both countries.
We started the implementation of the project for Akrobud from the key stage, which was the completion of a detailed brief by the client. This allowed us to have an in-depth understanding of the business objectives, target audience and expectations for the new website. As a result, we had a solid basis for further action, based on clearly defined needs and guidelines.
We then organized an online workshop that allowed for an interactive exchange of ideas with the client. During these meetings, we thoroughly analyzed every aspect of the project, discussed both technical and aesthetic issues, which allowed us to create a coherent vision. The workshop was not only an opportunity to present our proposals, but also to understand the client's perspective — its values, philosophy and specific industry needs.
At the end of the workshop, we developed a detailed sitemap, which served as a comprehensive navigation plan of the site. This map contained a complete layout of the subpages and a detailed description of their contents, which ensured the clarity of the structure. This was a key step that allowed the client to fully understand how their site would function and what information would be presented to users.
The next step was creative meetingduring which we presented to the client our mood boards. These visual boards were a reflection of the proposed creative line — a combination of aesthetics, colors and graphic style to distinguish the site. Moodboards helped us to gain customer acceptance and ensure that our concepts are in line with their vision and company image.
Once the vision was accepted, we proceeded to the crucial design phase, starting with detailed UX mockups. At this stage, we focused on the functionality of the site, creating a clear layout that provided an intuitive navigation of the site. UX mockups also allowed us to minimize potential problems at the stage of visual design and implementation. When the structure was finalized, we moved on to the phase graphic design UI — we have taken care of a modern, attractive appearance, tailored to the specifics of the industry and the expectations of the audience.
The process of developing a creative line, identified the need to implement a photo shoot on the premises of the Akrobud production plant. The client very efficiently organized a photo and film session, which resulted in excellent quality photos and video placed on our website.
After designing all the subpages, we proceeded to the stage Webflow website implementation. This process required the precise execution of every element, from animations to micro-interactions, which were designed to make the site more engaging and interactive. We put a lot of emphasis on detail, which is why our work at Webflow included not only an aesthetic implementation, but also a smooth and attractive user experience.
A key aspect was also to ensure that the site would fully responsive, which means it worked perfectly on any device — regardless of whether the user is using a computer, tablet or smartphone. We made sure that each element of the site was adapted to different screen resolutions, which ensured a consistent user experience across all devices, including mobile.
The result of our activities was a functional, responsive and visually attractive website, which fully responded to the needs of Akrobud and helped in the realization of the company's business goals.
